Calling All Food Bloggers in Melbourne

When I first started blogging, I was clueless as to how big the food blogging community was. I started reading food blogs after food blogs, both envying and inspired by the culinary techniques and photography. I must say, there is really a lot of talent out there and creativity spewing out from the four corners of my laptop.
I’m rather curious to find out how many food bloggers are there in Melbourne and quite possibly perhaps one day, organize a food blogging event just for Melburnians.

You’ll find that there are almost 100 active food bloggers in Melbourne! (I try to keep an up-to-date list of all the ones I’m aware of on my blog.)
A number of us have met in person – there’ve been about 4 group meet-ups in the past year. There hasn’t been an email list or anything set up so you might be onto a good idea there. Usually we just write posts and send comments to get the news around.

Im a qualified chef, never thought of food bloging but your website looks great! I love your photos and your ideas are great. I would mind learing a little more and possibly starting one myself. Are there any other websites you can recomend? I would love to meet up with all the bloggers too! I am also just about to qualify as a food techonologist and nutritionist and currently work in the food manufacturing industry.
